Fee Information

In 2024, the State Government introduced "Free Kindy" in Queensland for eligible children. Clayfield Pre-Prep Management Committee opted in to this incentive. Kindy is free for eligible children.

When you submit a Wait List Application, there is a $50 application fee.

Upon enrolment, families are asked to pay $100 enrolment fee and a $200 association fee.

These are the only fees Clayfield Pre-Prep requests.

Enrolment Process

We open enrolments 2 years prior to children being eligible to start Kindy.

1. The enrolment process begins with your Wait List application and $50 deposit. Once we have your details and deposit, we can add your child to the appropriate Wait List.

2. You can access the Wait List by emailing the Director at admin@clayfieldpreprep.com.au and it will be emailed to you. You can also pick one up at the Centre. Please email or return this in person back to us with the deposit information. Your child is placed on the Wait List from the date of your $50 waiting list application deposit.

You are also welcome to contact us to book a short, informal personal tour of the Centre on any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday morning during the school term. Please email or call the director, Amanda Lancaster and book a short, informal personal tour. Amanda will welcome you and walk you through the Centre and answer all your questions.

3. Prior to enrolment, the Director will contact you (usually by phone) from the Waitlist data base to offer you a placement in a class. Classes are usually organised many months before the beginning of the school year. If you accept the offered placement, you are then sent a confirmation of enrolment and will then be asked to pay the enrolment deposit.

Also prior to enrolment, enrolment documentation is sent via an email for you to complete on the Kidsoft platform.

You are also notified about orientation for parents and for the children.
